Is it? I thought I saw the smaller left anal fin when the fish turned to the left.

Thanks Bro.

Some snippets of wat you miss at Aquarama...aka AQUA-DRAMA. wacko.gif

First The Sinking of A Titanic

"Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on....."

lyrics from the theme song of the mega blockbuster movie"TITANIC"

Sad to see such a casualty in any competition

QUOTE(Sonny @ Fri, 25 May 2007 10:09 am) *

I thought it was a Froghead! rusure.gif

Hi Sonny, it used to be a bubbleeye but the bubbles burst. It was the winner to local show "My Fancy Goldfish Competition 2006". Here's the picture of it when its bubbles are still complete and won in the show:
(From here)

The common Bubbleeyes are without dorsal. This fish is very rare considering that it is an official species and you can't find it easily now.

In fact, some clubs believe that Frogeye/Frog Head is a lousy strain of the bubbleeye species and they refuse to recognise froghead as a species on its own. I don't keep frogeye, but this is how a bubbleeye looks like when its bubbles are burst.

There many more to appreciate and to be seen, which no words nor any video can capture .The ambience and atmosphere that exude from this major event is just simply resounding.Whether you are an ardent hobbyist,a research scientist ,student or even a technical enthusiast related to the aquaculture world there is simply something for everyone to learn ,to enjoy and to relive the aura every 2 years. So make a date to come down to Aquarama this week end.I'll be waiting for you wink.gif

To date(at this very hour),I believe RG is the only forum that bring you the latest happening at Aquarama especially the goldfish section which is of our very interest. It has been tremendously tiring to cover for this event but the thrills and spills are absolutely rewarding enough to make up for any shortfalls.Hope members here enjoy our coverage.Special thanks go to the great assistance rendered from cp and desireless in my hours of absence and deficiencies.

Thanks to Bro Matrix and Vermillion Club. This red-capped oranda has made my day. I have been looking for something like that since I was a little boy.

Doc, indeed RG is the best in Aquarama Coverage of the year. Hahahaha .... next time I try to recommend RG as the official Live forum ok ? good_very.gif

Actually I only went thru the fish on the 1st nite and till now, no time to go thru them again. Goodness .... exhausted. I am still awake now and in a couple of hours, back into the hall. wacko.gif

Hope you guys will spend some time talking to people around the hall tomorrow. Too bad, you missed meeting some interesting people, many left town today or tomorrow morning. Anyway, there are still some nice gals walking around the hall tho' ... shiok.gif Watch the Oase booth ok ... the one with the large fountain and laser show and bikini gals ... I repeat .... BIKINI gals .... CP, go go go ...

One thing about this year show is .... is really a trade show now. Unlike previous few years, there are booth selling fishes, this year, very minimal. But in term of accessories, really strong showing of newer aqua-products and medicines.

Oh ya, those who wanted to buy the Japanese ranchu magazines, better bring more money. The book is selling cheaper by 30%. If you can pool to buy at least 3-4 books, I think can get discount up to 40%. That's CHEAP !

Also visit GEX counter ... a new type of food for your fish. But only give a small tiny 5g trial pack. hmm.gif

Another is the QianHu counter which feature the super aqua-furniture .... i feel like making one set for my dinning hall now.

Ok guys, dun just take photo of the fishes leh .... lets hv some more special features of the entire show.

You are welcome. Price now appreciated liao hor. Not a collector item but still got some value in it.
Tunghoi standard fish ah ... dun play play.

There is another set but not from TungHoi. The set, smaller then what u got, has become a collector item now and price jump 4 folds. Limited production and completely out of stock now.

Try find the red-cap oranda in that set. biggrin.gif
