Hi Ranchu Lover,

Have been buying gfs food and accessories from Darwin most of the time.
Was pretty disappointed that Darwin(LFS) for the past couple of weeks has been closed.(nobody around there knows what happen to them)

Is there anyone who could advise a similar good pricing gfs-retail shop or similar shop/s available.(beside Darwin,Petmart,Rainbow)
Preferably in the central or east.

Darwin is closed for "renovation".

food you can get anywhere try kingfisher now at new location good for MRT commuters, or Blue in East coast road.

Thanks for your kind information.

Problem now is I could not find this 'Kingfisher' shop under the yellow pages.
Could you kindly provide more specific details.
I need live daphnia badly every alternate days,but aquarium shop suppliers near Darwin area selling only on saturday/sunday.
Any other shops selling any other days?

Appreciate if you or anyone could back me up with more answers for the above questions.

Bro, try Toa Payoh Lorong 5 Blk 69. The shop which also sells pet food (eg, dog/cat food). Their fish food rather cheap.

Have just visited Kingfisher(LFS) 5 mins,since it is nearby my office.

It's a new shop.
They will sell live daphnia everyday from this thursday onwards.
Problems of this shop are - most prices not comparable to Darwin.

Anyway am glad to visit this shop,comment just for your information.

Have just received information from LFS that Darwin had closed down.
Very disappointed with their closure.
I have been waiting for months,thinking of all the good buys from them.

Anyway,could anyone propose any other LFS,selling close to Darwin prices??
I could only think of Petmart at this moment.

Pet Mart is another store that sells items with price comparable to Darwin. Some of the items you have to ask the staff for the actual cost (much lower than the shelf price). They have tagged their price higher because selling too low will invite complaints from their neighbouring shops.
