Bad Experience With This Lfs In Seletar Fw Options

Just came nack from the LFS in Seletar Farm way.
The LFS location at a Cross junction corner quite big shop selling quite a lot of thing tooo but do business not honest at all. Below are my 2 experience with them :

1. first encounter. :

2 weeks ago, I wnet to this LFS. They clearly wrote on the Comet tank saying offer buy 3 get 1 free and buy 4 get 2 free. so I happily choose 12 comet fish thinking paying only for 8 fish I will get 12. When I goto the counter they said wrote wrongly is buy 5 get 1 free. cannot be buy 3 get 1 free or buy 4 get 2 free then ask me to bring them to the tank, then ask me if i still want the fishes. I bought those fishes as i was thinking it is really a mistake.

2. second encounter : : :

Today, I went to this shop again. spotted a tank of hokin(those fish that look like kio but is a goldfish) again clearly stated buy 3 get 1 free and buy 4 get 2 free and is S$3.80 each.

I was then joking to my son telling maybe they wrote wrongly again for the FREE fish. so we just choose 1 fish and again happily goto the counter..............and guess what .....this time they say cannot be S$3.80 for hokin and ask me which tank I see got 3.80. So i show them to the tank telling them how can you have this kind of mistake for 2 time. further more there are 2 tank of hokin which is S$6.8 or 8.80 and I choose from this tank that state S$3.80 ( same expresion and question and tactic ask me to show them to the tank then tell me they wrote wrongly then ask me do I still want the fish) : : : then she also explain, "I incharge of selling only I did not write the S$3.80.........." what kind of explaination is that.

I just walk out of the shop, is not the matter of another S$3.00 but is the way they do biz that I really cannot TAHAN.


How will you feel if you are in my shoe ??? and how will you think of this shop ?

I don't know whether if this happened to other bro/sis who went to this shop but it happend to me twice within 3 weeks.

I will not go back to this shop again.

If you really need to visit this shop and buy then PLEASE ask the price and their offer clearly and DONOT TRUST or take for granted for what they wrote on the tank before you choose your fish to prevent unhappiness.

friend, do be more sensitive sometime. it is good to know there are some lfs not doing proper business, but do understand that one incident or 2 from a single person is not good enough to put a bad label over this lfs. if there is a need of action from you, you should approach the proper authority instead of writting here. Or even the newspaper forum or in fact, seeking explaination from the management of the company thru their email, or any possible legal channel.

anyway, from the description, most should know which one. so let the case rest and the other will be more careful with the store in doubt.

there is no further needs to discuss. I believe that RG will not engage in such discussion.

Since the name of LFS is not mentioned and description of the LFS is rather vague, I find the scope of discussion still ok... but threading along the line.

I believe everyone shares the same condolence to your bad experience. Thanks for letting us know about this.

Yet, I think the discussions should end here. There's no need to rub salt further. And there's really no point in discussing whether the LFS is right or wrong because the answer is very obvious liao
