Hi doc I got something similar to yours too.
This was how it look initially. (photo taken 24/12/07) Not very appealing with its baby black. Here's a video of it taken this morning when I scoop her out from her tub. Hope I can put her through a makeover too. |

Goldrush in these extreme make overs, do you increase the water temp, to aid in digestion of the food?
I'd like to maintain water temp about 30 degress right now having trouble keeping up to 23 degrees. Cold winter temps. But i have it on pretty good authority fish will grow faster in warmer water. |

Sorry didn't realise about the broken link...here it is kekekeke sure looks from the same source and perhaps are siblings.Keep up the good keeping and let us see in a couple of months their developments. Try to improve on its headgrowth and cheek...I think this bloodline should have an enhanced buffalo cheek effect. Veryl,I live in the tropics so our climate here is relative hot throughout the year and I do not need to maintain any temp towards the high end for increase in digestion.High temp equates high metabolism and high growth rate but need not equate to better development and hardiness(i believe) |

Hi Goldrush, can I know where U buy your this pc of ranchu, I seem to have seen it at a LSF in Bedok North. Is it from there? This piece from Sam and not from Bedok how to improve on headgrowth? If it is genetically inherent, then good water management plus high protein feed should bring out the best in its headgrowth. |
