Dear Brother, Sisters.
I have been doing some read up on rearing gold fishes and now, i have a 1.5ft glass tank with 6 lion head gold fishes. On the tank is a 2ft Dolphin Over-Head Filter where i place 2 pieces of sponge in it. One Green-White and the other black. I feed them once a day in the evening. But i face cloudy water after 2 days. Can any Brothers or Sisters help me as to how i can keep the water clear. Thank you in advance. |

could it be your tank is not cycle yet ?
As CP always said... QUOTE Point no (4) here: http://www.rafflesgold.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3031 Time need is 4-6 weeks. 50% Water Change (WC) once a week. Another is your Over Head Filter (OHF), are they new ? If Yes, then you also need to mature it by build bacteria. How to wash your sponge to grow MORE bacteria ? When you change water, use those water to rise your bacteria. Never use tap water. You will kill all the beneficial bacteria. Just a shake, spin in the pain a bit and put back on the OHF. Btw, 6 Goldfish (goldfish) might be overloaded. Point #2 http://www.rafflesgold.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3031 2-3 goldfish in a 2feet tank. Unless your goldfish are all stock level (2-3 inches), some believes the bigger the tank, the bigger your goldfish will grow, others said it's bloodline.
