Hmm....

Whenever you guys say you "sun" your sponge filter, you really put it out under the sun to dry it up?

All I did was air-dry the thing indoor under my desk.

this is really an old thread , while as buzy and tired, i still looked for something fishy + dumb to do ..


(sorrie man .. i lost the 2 photos in the first post )

Here's another way i clean my sponge. Rather than struggle to clean my dirtyest (ta ma de .. how to spell) sponge .. i took and shortcut.

equirpments needed.
Hot water boiler IPB Image

plastic bucket IPB Image

submerge the sponge IPB Image

after which, you can leave it to dry and its ready for it to replace a tired partner in its next workout in the tank good.gif
