After reading the title, I was... somehow... expecting to see 8 gold and 1 black goldfish?
In any case, it's nice to see pics like dat; lots of goldfish crowded together for a group shot. The top-view thai looks nice... while the rest are really side-view goldfishes. You wanna zoom in on that thai for us to salivate over? Nice aro you have too! BTW, I've added the link to you gallery so... everyone could just click on the camera button to access it. |

morning all,
whtan1 - side view shot of the ryukins? should not be of a problem. but water is already green by today. if on sunday, no problem. that's when i change water. i've got tub, but no spare glass tank. hb - haha.....i go off the norm. blacks seem hard for me....somehow. the black always fades till it becomes gold. so very disheartening. so no blacks for me, though i would like to have a black. my office is near JRP, 'bout 5 mins walk actually. i'm at keypoint. so normally during lunch, i pop over to see what they have. never buy anything though. that thai 'ger' with the 3 dots? that one is a nice pc i got from ac, mr. seah. thanks for the comments on my aro. i actually started out on goldfish when i was a little boy in sarawak. then went to angels, discus, planted tanks, aros and now it is back to goldfish. when i was in kuching, we were in a kampung, so i had all my goldfish in a mud pond outside the house. those days it was lousy feeders or so so ones. we kept them on a diet on chopped water hyacinth and prawns. they grew like nobody's biz. i think it was like 1 kilo or so per fish. when we came back to spore, we left to to our neighbours.............so i don't know what became of it. cyberet - will catch that bugger out for a shoot.........porcelain bowl can right? i don't have anything white other thatn bowls. |

Hey, you should submit your field report on JRP. I have a cheap black ranchu that is about 90% copper now. I can't wait to see it lose its black colouring completely. Allan has a similar thai ranchu and it's from Seah too. He kept telling me that batch was the best ones that Seah had to offer and it was only $60 each. The newer batches don't have as nice topview leow. |

QUOTE(HappyBuddha @ Tue 20 Jan 2004 10:19 AM) Hey, you should submit your field report on JRP. was there during lunch time. there had a few very pale 3" tosai tosakins going for $350-450!!!. and 1 tosai top view ranchu 3" also going to $850......even more crazy. during my stay, a guy in smart office wear came in n was conned. he got a small bottle of s7 and a small of food. cost?......$67!!!!. he was even a corporate member! how i know? coz i over heard JRP asking him if he could deduct from his priviledge card. i could get the same items for less than half the price at c328. i was curious and looked in the back room from the front. JRP closed the door. so i asked if i could see what was inside. a flat NO. for MEMBERS ONLY. so i left. on my way back to office, i saw the guy that was in the store earlier............getting into his car across the road...........you guess it. a big car, a big Merc. so..............conclusion.............JRP look down on small fries and tripod the big fish. but they did not realise that small fries grow up to be big fish one day.
