Not experienced with celestials, but looks to be standard LFS celestial. Good, balanced eyes. The caudal fins are ripped, though?

Yes, I ordered 'Shanti' through mail order, and he happened to arrive with a tiny rip. So I had no opportunity in choosing my best buddy without the rip. Any hopes in it fixing it self over time?

Well since my last post, I went to my local fish store and purchased Melafish for the tiny tear in the fin. I hope it does the job. I'll be adding pics of the recovery.
