Sometime last year, this piece was featured.Well over a year, this fish has improved on coloration to give a reddish uniform coat but the black spots remain sparse and scattered. The wen has grown progressively and covered the eyes entirely !His sight for food is totally impaired but still able to feed without much handicap. He is about 16 cm in length now.

I find it helps to keep fish like this with other 'vision impared' fish, this way they are all as bad as each other at finding food and get their fare share!
