I got a new tank and I am building a stand to save money I got some plans from www.garf.org DIY areaI started with some lumber I bought at lowes.Lowes will even cut the lumber at some locations I cut my own here is the frame all cut
The mini Kregg jig makes screwing the wood together easy and it is strong Here is the top and bottom frame Next I put the uprights in and the top and bottom shelf I added some pannels This is as far as I got so far I will add some stain and trim This post has been edited by CP: Wed, 30 Jun 2010 9:02 am Reason: Topic moved and title amended |

Nice
However, suggest you put a piece of styrofoam (at least 1/2 inch thick) on stand before placing your tank; for even weight distribution. |

Wow, that looks great!
Kinda wishing I knew my way with those tools now.. I'd probably get myself in the hospital if I tried though. |
