Sorry bro... but I have to say...

If this is a SIDEVIEW ranchu, then it has to be the FREAKIEST sideview ranchu I have ever seen!

The kink is terible!
The body shape is even more terrible... It looks like it body shape is deformed! Even if the fish were to swim straight, it head will still be looking at the sky.
I supposed it is some culled fishes... But maybe some bro bought because of its over-blown head.

Maybe it is a topview... prob it looks better topview. unsure.gif

Eh bro desireless

I think r comments "Freakiest ranchu" not very fair.

Common everyone has diffrerent taste, to me this 1 is a nice ranchu.
To u it may not, but why say freakiest, bro such words not good.

Hope u dont get offended. Tks. smile.gif

Eh bro sorry if I sound very hard on it. But I just want to point out the defects on this fish. I am NOT an expert but I cannot tolerate such deformities. It has really nothing to do with taste because the curvature is really deformed if you look at it from sideview.

I still have no confirmation if this is a top view... From its curve, it sure look more of a top view ranchu. So to be really fair, maybe if you have the topview pix, pls post it so I can give a fairer comment.

However, if this is a sideview, then sorry I must say it is not a good one. I am not jeering at the fish when I use "freak". I just want to say it is "deformed".

No hard feelings peace.gif

Are you VERY SURE it is imported from JAPAN? That's terrible. Sorry if you're the owner of this fish now, but this is really a bad buy. Please question your seller further on this piece. I seriously doubt his honesty.

Anyway, I still can't convince myself that this is from Japan. As I have mentioned before, it is probably one of those culled fishes.
But from Japan? ...No way man... hmm.gif

hmmm... my ideal side-view ranchu will be like this...  good_very.gif

pic courtesy of ranchu centre . com

I like your ideal ranchu too. It's very balance. Everything that should be there are there and in the right size/proportion. It's like a Miss Universe. The first ranchu has a head that is out of proportion. Way out to be exact. It's like a Miss Chinatown with a 38DDD cup; some of us may like humongous breasts but most of us don't.
