Brewing Green Water In Hdb Flats Options

Other than renting a pond, any sifu knows what "K" is best to develop Green Water. If 6500K better or 10000K or if 10000K will kill the green water?

It will be informative to anyone who want to try Green Water at least to understand some of the light condition to get the result

i think 6500K more energy efficient as compared to 10000K considering the life span of the bulb, the cost, and electricity used..

i think can try up to 15000K?

not sure about 20000K though..

Could CHRISAMOS provide an update on the 20000K bulb?

My PL lamp is 7000 Kelvin, and it's perfectly alright.

As you know, I have two such lamps. I find if I turn on both, the green would intensify very quickly. A 5% seeding would turn mature green within 2 days!

So what I do is turn on both lamps during the first 2 days only. On the 3rd day onwards (till the 7th) I only turn on one lamp... failing which the fishes start gasping for air in the late evening!

BTW, if I only use one lamp after changing water, then the green water would mature on the 4th day. Considering the life-span of green water is 7 days.... that only leave my fishes 3 days to enjoy the full benefits of green water. Hence, I want fresh green water to mature, FAST!
