bros, got a question for u guys using the above...... will either one of the brands reduces no3? was at petmart today, the staff told me Angel bio rings will reduces no3 when the medium has matured, really? then was told bio rings works better than biohome? wanted to get the biohome, 1kg for $45. but not sure if it really does reduces no3 not. pls advice bros....

I hate throwing a bucket of cold water but here it goes.
If a product legitimately will reduce NO3 with no harmful by-products for our goldfish setup, you can bet your life savings that it will be a standard, compulsory item for everyone. It's really as simple as that. That said, I suggest you read up about the nitrogen cycle to better equip yourself to fight against marketing gimmicks. I only have 3 words for the best bio-filtration for goldfish - Sponge, sponge and sponge. |
