bros, got a question for u guys using the above...... will either one of the brands reduces no3? was at petmart today, the staff told me Angel bio rings will reduces no3 when the medium has matured, really? then was told bio rings works better than biohome? unsure.gif wanted to get the biohome, 1kg for $45. but not sure if it really does reduces no3 not. unsure.gif pls advice bros.... blush.gif

Almost all filtration media will reduce no3. question is the rate. AFAIK, none of the "normal" media (biohome, angel blah blah blah) reduce no3 fast enough to make a difference.

i actually throw away a few kilos of biohome and switch to normal sponge filter.
