why are your tanks so green as compared to those at fish shops? If you all find that green water is very good then why don't fish shops use them?? I'm puzzled...

QUOTE(articguardian @ Fri, 29 Oct 2004 3:43 pm) why are your tanks so green as compared to those at fish shops? If you all find that green water is very good then why don't fish shops use them?? I'm puzzled... Fellow forumers here agree on one thing - green water (green water) is better. The benefits includes bigger growth, larger headgrowth and excellent colouration.I have yet to hear from one (in this forum) who says that clear water is better than green water. I do not use green water at home but I rent a pond and rotate my fishes so that they are kept in green water for development and enjoy them in my clear tank at home. LFS is not concerned about the condition of the fish. They are more concerned abt their pockets - SELLING the fish. How to sell fish in green water when you cant see them clearly? Hope that helps. |
