Hi... currently I'm providing continuous supply of live tubifex worm for my goldfish by using the worm trays... Does this mean that I'm overfeeding them?

Eh Void, how do you cleanse your tubi? After seeing how they harvest the worms, I realised how full of diseases they are that I stopped using for the time being.

QUOTE(desireless @ Tue, 09 Nov 2004 1:07 pm) Eh Void, how do you cleanse your tubi? After seeing how they harvest the worms, I realised how full of diseases they are that I stopped using for the time being. first of all, i soak them in PP... but must be very fast (about 30 seconds)... or else they will be dead (I have experienced this)... Then put them in running water for an hour... then put some tetracyline and soak them for an hour or two... By putting them in running water, the dirty stuff or dead worm will be separated below the alive ones... So take the top layer to feed your fish... the bottom layer will be the smelly dead worms or dirty stuff... Actually, you can lift the whole chunk of top alive layer worms... leaving the dead ones below... |
