While many of bros here were busy over at Aquarama,yours trully happened to haul 2 SVs from the barren LFS to add to my collection Both are about 5 inch
One is a Thai while the other is another Guangchou fish  Enjoy |

The PRC is a decent purchase. Is its tail slightly inbalanced? Like Laser commented earlier, only one side is wrap-around. Anyway, it is evident that most PRC ranchus have coarse scale alignment. This is a big turnoff to me. Another trait I observe is the shallow peduncle (This COULD be reason why their tails are not so erected). I would prefer deeper ones myself. So unless I see a super good one, I would normally avoid buying PRC ranchus. |
