The thai fish will not improve further

Why har ??? can teach newbie ? beg2.gif beg2.gif ( I think color can improve leh )

newbie's humble opinion blush.gif :
thai ranchu better than the PRC ranchu :
- better tail <- as mentioned by almost all the members
- better head growth ( cover eyes )
- smaller scales

Body shape wise, both are nice - good curvature, but I prefer thai tongue.gif

Goldrush, can reveal which is more expensive ? PRC or Thai ?

hahaha ... that's it. I guess I am the only one out again.
I prefer chinese fish than the thai. Not becos of the price, maybe the scale put me off sometime, but when comes to tail, wen and body mass, nothing beats the chinese.

Anyone purchase the TungHoi DVD and VCD at the show ? Watch the DVD and u will know how big is this fish.

Ya, as usual you are the odd one out again (many times already, lost count).

Disregarding say the top 10% high quality showgrades, ie let us talk majority of the SV ranchus available to us, my take on the advantages of the following traits will be:

Scales - Thai
Tail - Thai
Wen - Thai
Funtans or buffalohead - Definately Thai
Curvature - Thai
Body mass - PRC
Calico variety - PRC

So if you are more into jumbo calicos PRC SV will be a better choice.

Sorry Goldrush to degenarate this thread into Thai vs PRC sideview ranchu but then again we have already had enough of Thai vs Jap TVs so it shd be a refreshing change.............
