Propose brew green water in 2ft tank project
1. 23.5" x 11.5" x 13" fiveplan brand tank 2. 51.81 litres of water (13.71 gallons of water), around 12.5" depth of water 3. 2ft DIY PL lights with 2 36W OSRAM tubes and e-ballast 4. Simple sponge filter to collect goldfish poos 5. Wooden air block for aeration 6. 2 4.5" to 6" ranchus Is it possible to brew green water in 2ft tank rather than tub? I've all the equipment with me except the PL lights which I've yet to collect from a bro who help DIY PL lights. Will switch on the PL lights non-stop for 3-4 days or until the green water turn dark green? |

QUOTE(CyberET @ Thu 15 Jan 2004 11:14 PM) hehe.. someone tell that to my dad.. he made me to setup a 100L filtered tank with 7 gfs in it using 4 sponge filters and still having problems keeping the parameters in check.. Hows the FBF experiment going? wahahaha, it's not that i don't want, just that having such a high stocking ratio makes maintaining it a pain in the a**. rather save myself from the trouble the FBF thingy is not working as i expected such it's a super filter, but it isn't reducing nitrate like the way i want it to be. maybe it's because the main occupant in the 3ft tank is a 13" aro, and when the poo comes out it is a big amount at once... but i think it removes ammonia darn fast, and i can probably stock the tank way higher than usual. |
