Hello everybody
It’s that time of the year where we will receive, exchange and share our joy with others, privileged or under privileged. For those who receive gifts during the coming holidays,it is not too early to start thinking ahead and start nagging your love ones for your beloved gifts(goldfish keeping related for that matter of course)I have listed out some of mine in my Christmas wish list with the estimated price range for your consideration and hopefully some of you will fulfill my wishful thinking So here goes........... 0-$1.00 You can’t get far with this miserable amount.Perhaps a pail of clean water for a change or 0.50cts worm for one Christmas feeding. $1.00-$10.00 A couple of cheapskate Test Kit,1 kg of Baking soda or Hypo sit nicely within range.A packet of Hikari lionhead pellets cost a mere 7 bucks and if those who wish your fish are stricken by ailments(Curse that bargirl! who give)a whole range of OTC medications are available for your selection.PP,H2O2,etc……. $10.00 to $50 Yes a nice 3 foot Guppy tub(TVR enthusiast listen out!),a Shiruba air pump,Auto feeders plus a number of starting kit for beginners should fall within this range.a packet of JRL pellets top this range for its reliability, quality and performance. $50-$100 Now things get abit more respectful with this range.Higher performance gadgets like pumps ,lights, 5 footer tub or even a few LIVE specimens can be your consideration. $100-$500 Aha,with this range I can certainly sink deeper and dwell on more subtle and refined quality acqusition like a reasonable quality TVR or SVR.Water purifier system to improve my maintenance schedule.Hehehehehehhe $500 and above The sky is the limit! With the above range I can easily acquire a whole range of “toys”to better my fish keeping.Microscope, state of the art filtration system and that elusive prize winning goldfish of reputable bloodline is now within my reach! Priceless The most coveted prize at the top of most enthusiast wish list would be winning the grand champion of the upcoming Ranchu competition especially so as the title would be conferred by several world renown judges of the highest esteem. But for now all I want for Christmas is to fix up someone’s two front teeth…………. Wakeup Goldrush |
