Bro kinder i don't mean to ridicule u. if u feel offended; don;t. in fact i am very flattered by yr kind words and yr admiration on my choice of ranchu type.

i ve seen a couple of forums that praise fishes either to the point of being hypocritcal or due to pure ignorance. the latter is fine as there is room for improvement but the former is

when face to face commenting on one's pet, < i quote from some wise men>

" Use discretion when commenting on a particular fish. It is
best to emphasize the positive attributes of a fish, rather than
to dwell on the negative aspects of the pet.
always remember that the "exhibited fish" is a personal pet, and
that people have invested time and money in the care of their
fish"

but if i am serious abt elevating my appreication value of goldfish, this will not get me very far. take the hard knocks of people giving lousy comments on fish, find out why. sure....i 'll be down & demoralise for a while. but the take away and lesson learnt is great.

The fish shown in the banner is not the best of goldfish. It is only average by expert standard. But the moderator has asked me to allow it to be posted; perhaps as an recognition to those that keep average goldfish and that fish need not be expensive to be "beautiful" and one can keep adorable pets at reasonable price also with no A, AA or AAA or bloodline tag on them.
