never heard of frog head got short tail variety !!!

Have lah! Still remember QH named them as "Dan Feng" in Chinese. Very rare, only saw it once bigwink.gif Got one red and one sakura but pass on liao, no pics taken :sad

Oui, dan feng is dan feng hor ... Egg Fish Phoenix Tail. But phoenix tail must be long broad tail. Short tail is another rare variety - nankin.

In fact Dan Feng is near to extinct. Only a handful of farms still breeding in small quantity, mainly export to European and US.

Asia side probably crazy hobbyists will collect the top range type.

Now realized and sad that actually 2 almost extinct rare breed pass on on me :sad
