Dear RG members,

Currently i use filter like shown below in my TVR tank

IPB Image

IPB Image

Filter consist of three levels where in each box in every level I put bioballs. The size of my tank is 2 M x 1 M x 0.5 M. From the top level, water flow down to the next level until reach and poured to the pond. I made plenty of little holes in the bottom of each box in order to divide the flow cause many say that large water flow will impact to swimming style of TVR. I put it on the top of my house's roof so it get plenty of sunlight. Sometime the water turn to clear water and sometimes to green water. My question is, does my setup still give negative impact to my TVR's swimming style? Any comment is welcome for the improvement of the set up

Thx

Looks funny but it is an innovative use of the cabinet!!

With a hugh capacity of compartment, I supposed you can innovate it further it to a Bakki shower:

Dear Desireless,

Yup. It looks funny. But it cheap u know. Small cabinet like that only cost you Rp 100K or SGD 16.66 (If 1 SGD = Rp 6,000) while bioball only cost me Rp 200 K. biggrin.gif To be honest, I adopt the idea from bakki shower but i found difficulties to obtain the bigger containers. There's no way that i will buy the momontaro bacteria house (bakuhenseki stones) hmm.gif . It's very expensive. I believe by using the bioball or lava rock, it will work, just need to add the capacity and adjust the power head to ensure that water have time enough to flow within the bioball/lava rock so the BB bacteria have time to process the nitrat. Btw, thanks for the link

Regards
