Dear Friends....
I have adopted 2 baby oranda 2 months ago. They are calico type and sakura type. Calico Oranda. Baby size. 10 cm. Junior size. 13-14 cm after 2 months. Sakura Oranda. Baby size. 10 cm. Junior size. 13-14 cm after 2 months. I grow them in the 2 m x 1 m tube. Feeding regime is 2x Bloodworm/day and 6x Mixed Pellets (Hikari Lionhead-Nozomi Wheatgerm-Lobster Pellets). I need comments for further developments. Anyway, which one has the better potential? Are they eligible enough to go for a show? Thanks. |

You guys once taught me that 'sakura' means cherry blossom - like pink. If I'm not mistaken, sakura have a mixture of metallic and nacreous scales and the red pigment embedded deep in the skin looks pink when seen below the clear nacreous scales. Yes, or no?
