Dear Friends....
I have adopted 2 baby oranda 2 months ago. They are calico type and sakura type. Calico Oranda. Baby size. 10 cm. Junior size. 13-14 cm after 2 months. Sakura Oranda. Baby size. 10 cm. Junior size. 13-14 cm after 2 months. I grow them in the 2 m x 1 m tube. Feeding regime is 2x Bloodworm/day and 6x Mixed Pellets (Hikari Lionhead-Nozomi Wheatgerm-Lobster Pellets). I need comments for further developments. Anyway, which one has the better potential? Are they eligible enough to go for a show? Thanks. |

Yes, same thing, golem. All calico fish are nacreous scale so you see pigment under the scale instead of in the scale like metallic fish. What looks like blue is black pigment deep in the skin. What looks like black is black puigment at the surface of the skin (but still under the scale).
