Is it safe to use eheim cannister filter in a 2ft tank?
Cause I'm afraid that the flow rate may be too powerful for the small tank. Any way that I can reduce the flow rate? Is there any way that I can also adjust the output of the pipe? |

I have got a 2213 eheim canister, the flow rate for that is about 440l/h...so as suggested by CP should be fine...
If not im not entirely sure but might get speciall spray bar attachments which could help in reducing the flow rate....other option is that you have values on connectors rite for water inlet and outlet...try to turn them halfway....and not completely close...see if that works....or you can also point the spray bar holes towards your tank wall...so that way not much current in the tank...play with the side bar and see how you can best position is to reduce the current in the tank.... |
