I just read the AQIS regulations for importing goldfish into Australia. I will never again say you guys have to pay too much for imported fish. The mark-up would have to be 10 to 20-fold just to cover the cost and hassle of compliance.
I know there is at least one large koi and goldfish farm there. It is in an old wastewater treatment plant near Sydney. A guy that works there used to post under the name of "ranskye" on the Koi Bito forum. -steve |
