A DARK KNIGHT, A Thai Black with unsurpassed darkness Options

Sometime in April this year,I received a call from Sam of Samgold telling me the sightig of a potential competition grade black in his Bangkok trip.Without hesitation and just based on his stringent eagle-eyed appreciation,I went ahead to purchase this fish from the accompanied photo.This is what I received from the email



It is a male and the body looks a bit short and headgrowth not so pronounced.Blacks are reputable for being slow grower and males are especially poorly endowed with good headgrowth.So it is a good challenge for me to bring out the best of this fish.My vision of this fish comprises of the following criterias that need to be addressed
a)pronounced headgrowth
b)black color maintained and not deteriorate
c)Swimming posture not compromised
d)acceptable overall growth
