i was reading a thread on sump tank vs IOF tank.

is sump tank ideal for goldfish? maintenance seem simpler and filtration change and medication could be added quite simply with sump tank, any one has one and can share some experience on sump tank?

I have a sump tank for my rykins....

IMO, very very good for fish with lots of shits..kekkekekkekkee

water always very clear, can put in tons of CR, sponge and wool... when dirty can see easily and wash. Cycle tanks very fast. Can keep more fishes per sqft of water.

Good for fishes that can take higher water level.... for ranchu, I have yet to find one that are 1ft height .. unless I customise of course..
