Finally ... I managed to talk to my wife and convince her that this little hobby of mine will further enhance our family life. I got the approval for a 24 x 12 x 12 - 14(H).
Anyone in Hougang aera can help to seed a new canister for me for a week. I'm thinking of getting eheim ecco 2231. Cheers |

QUOTE(jhansolo @ Mon 08 Mar 2004 04:46 PM) So to clarify, the weekly schedule is change 20% aged water and squeeze the sponge. I missed out the aged water thingy... Don't listen to shirely, and the misleading prank Mr. D was playing on her. Aging water NO LONGER WORKS in Singapore because our garman added chloramine into our tap water. Chloramine CANNOT dissipitate into air. Hence aging is a waste of time. Always use good anti-chlorine, such as Genesis, to condition your water. It will break down Chloramine into Chlorine and Ammonia, nearly instantly. You age water... your wife sure to scream at you for nothing paying attention to her but a pail of water instead. |
