Would crushed tile make for good filter media?
The white porcelin type. I just tiled my bathroom and I was thinking of crushing up the scrap pieces and puting it in my filter. |

May be a good media due to its porosity. But the chemical compositions is a question mark.
If wanna try, suggest to soak it in tap water for at least a month;with water changes every week, before using. |
