I have 2 tanks, 3 & 4 ft.
I bought the Seachem "Ammonia Alert" for each tank. Noticed that my 3ft tank always at "Alert color" even after I did water change 50% and whack ammo lock into water. Presently I running 2 cannisters (Both Jebao) on it. I use Eheim sub pro & biohome plus (red colour) and CR. 4ft tank is ok on safe colour. Can anyone help on ammo stuff. |

QUOTE(HappyBuddha @ Sun 28 Mar 2004 08:47 AM) Save the money and get a good air-pump plus a couple of sponge filter instead. I second that, spectical at first but seems to fit in the fundamentals, tried and it works, the only problem there are floating particals that got me very irriatated, so I turned on my other filters. Yesterday, tested water and noted a sharp increase in nitrate, but no time to change water now, hope the fish can wait till Sat. HB the man |
