My lastest addition, have not bought any ryukins since last year december.... I was quite surprise to find this 2 pcs at a reasonable price. seems like short tail season is slowly coming back . They are abt 5~6" from head to tail.

QUOTE(Absolute Ranchu @ Wed 14 Apr 2004 01:27 PM) Very nice. I also keep a few Ryukins as well. I got them from Japan. Their tales are much longer. What do you think about them? Do you find any long tail Ryukin in Singapore? Cheers. Pat That are long tail ryukins in Sinagpore, both from Japan and China. Seriously speaking, I do not know much abt Jap Ryukins. IMHO, Japan's ryukin are mostly long tail, very bright red and white, very nice too. There seems to be less emphasis on humps and main emphasis is on the body head and tail or at least I have not seen any Jap ryukin with good humps. I came across 2 types that have open tail when look from the top and those with normal side view I am a nuts for Short tail ryukins, so I do not have much experience with Long Tail ryukins I have seens some Long Tail Thai Ryukin with marvellous tail, thick, standing and medium lenght. I will be in Thailand from Friday to Sunday for Gold fish hunting with a fellow forumer (a Thai National) ...he will be bringing me around If it is convienent, I would like to visit your farm and take some serious photos so that once I am back I can do a field report of my Thailand Fish hunting trip.
