Remember this fish above

Well I have snipped off its thicken appendage off its top tail end.But what I want to show you is its marked improvement of colors of this fish. The red has deepen and the white remains unblemished and untarnished. So very often we end up getting pink infiltration into the white or orange blotches that practically ruin the whole fish. The demarcation between the two color(kiwa)is sharp and well defined.

This fish has been fed continuous on a high spirulina based color enhancer with full sun as complement for 45 days.

Hi goldrush,

What are the differences between SVR and TVR standards? I'd really appreciate if you post a both a side picture and a top picture of both a TVR and a SVR. That would really help me.

By the way, new here but reading RG forums since many months ago, lots of interesting info. Your posts are real bibles for goldifsh keepers. Many thanks for being here "Doc" goldrush. hi.gif

Regards,

Carlos

A good ranchu should look good both from the top as well as from the side. But such gems are few and rare to find. Most TVR looks good from top but looks horrendous from the side and vice versa tongue.gif

Occasionally you may find one or two close enough to satisfy both laugh.gif

I got these from pasir ris farm and they were sold under $100 a piece for a 3 inch fish
