Thankyou mountain for the close-up pics on the autofeeder's clamp.
My Rainbow brand autofeeder DOES NOT comes with the same clamp. In fact, it only has a small stand that holds up the AF with double-sided sticky tape. I'll try to find the stand and take a pic to show everyone. Looking at AiM's claim I suggest anyone intending to get a AF to skip the Rainbow brand!! |

Grin. I forgot to post the pic after finding my AF's stand.
See? Damn pathetic right? It's held in place with cheap double-sided tape, which won't last long since the tank is a moist area! At the very least, they should make the stand a lot bigger (at least larger than the AF itself). As it is now, the AF's weight also applies pressure to peel off the tape over time. &^%#$@#@~! AiM's the brand to go for especially since it's about the same price!!! |

too late.. I bought the rainbow one... I modifed the out-put to reduce the amount of (baby) mini pellets coming out - about 6-8 baby pellets. Now am scratching my head on how to mount the auto-feeder.
Anyway to buy those clamps??? ie: spare parts? TIA. |

Not to worry about the double-sided tape. Go to the hardware store and buy those black colour double-sided tape use by the automotive industry. About $5/- per roll, black in colour. Tell the "uncle" you want "ho eh" (good quality one). Those will last you a lifetime. In future if you want to remove it, you will have to put in lots of effort to remove it. |

Put 2 chop sticks across your tank to hold the feeder or you can use raffia string to tie it. I don't like my tank to have doubleside-tape traces here and there

Or get a perforated plastic cover to cover the tank and just place the AF on the cover.

My Tank's top is very "wet" - I have a bubble wall at the back of the tank... the lid has a step, so the Auto-Feeder(AF) cannot rest flat on the lid....
One way or the other, there isn't a easy way to "mount" the AF - hang it off the partition? |
