Tail is too high and too big?? Not sure if Ryukin has such criteria.

Tail can be too high in ryukin (but not in this case). The top of the tail is not suppose to be higher then the top of the dorsal fin.
Also now-a-days fashion short tail ryukin - that's why some people feel that the tail is 'too big'.

I guess it's a matter of opinion when it comes to goldies. But your ryukin look good. Your ryukin isn't stocky but it looks well balanced and as for the fins real nice. I don't know why a goldfish having to high of a tail would be a flaw anyways. Shouldn't that be a good thing as long as it's holding it tail nice and high not dragging it like most adult goldfishes. But yeah anyways in this case the tail is not too high it's fine. Nice ryukin.
