Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum. I've been admiring and envious of the selection of fine ranchus in your area(Singapore). I am from the US, and live in San Francisco, Ca. I have hard time finding good ranchus like the ones on this post here. There are a couple of stores that carry them here, and occasionally they would have decent stock at best. I've have seen post for a few online sellers but not that many, are there a list of online sellers somewhere on this forum? Thanks in advance. Vin |

Hello,
Now-a-day, I kinda like Thai ranchu. So I bought a lot from Paul (gold fish passion.com {type without space}). If you like Thai style, he is the best and he will get his new shipment by the end of this month. For chinese ranchu, I will suggest Dandy Oranda (http://home.columbus.rr.com/dandyorandas/) and Tommy (goldfishnet.com). Goldfishutopia.com is pretty good too. For TVR, I believe bekko has a few to sell and Paul can bring them in for you. Let me know if you have any question. This post has been edited by small_ranchu: Wed, 07 Nov 2007 12:41 pm |

I think they re out of business !
Try Paul from Goldfishpassion, he carries decent Thai Goldfish. The prices are little bit higher, but he's willing to work out with your budget. |

Vin,
Welcome to the forum! Like you I also live the Bay Area(Dublin) and Have had problems looking for good TVR's.All the sites mention by small ranchu are still selling fish. Here's bekko's website: www.raingarden.us Ive also confirmed that GoldfishUtopia "might" be importing TVR from a Japan Coop sometime next year. Also, Ive been desperate enough to ask or beg the koi dealers in my area to carry TVR to no avail. Vin-Have you been to Pet Central(Hung Lim?) On Broadway in the city. They import ranchus from China. Call first though bec. last time I was there they only had 1 big ranchu left. Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I'm from NJ, USA. I bought 4 red and white oranda from Stephen Carney ~9 months ago. He's a good guy & honest. His fish are much better than those from Petco & PetsMart or any local pet shops as you know goldfish is not very popular in the States. Eric. G'day Eric, I surprised to hear that you said goldfish is not popular in the States...I sure you've heard of Koko, DannyOranda and Goldfish Connection. |
