Not many here can take a photo of this quality.....................
 I like the hump, but I find that this ryukin is unique in the sense that its height/lenght ratio is greater than 1. We always aspire the height of a ryukin to at least match its lenght; and this piece seems to have 'overdone' it.Not sure this will go well with other ryukin fanciers but I do not mind at all. This ryukin has got nice hump and body shape. Can't tell much of the tail. Maybe it was in motion during photo-taking
As it is a finished fish, do not pin too much hope for it to grow much further. Frankie |

There isn't a fold, just happened that the shot was taken when its dorsal was moving. This shot probably isn't that clear either but gives the view from the other side.
I agree that this fish has basically maxed its development and size.  |
