Mango, When you get used to it... you will easily know if it is a Lionchu or a Ranchu... It was hard for me at first but when I really sit down and look at it carefully then I noticed the difference with the general view of it..

try it hehehe

QUOTE(Forever-mango @ Sun, 09 Nov 2008 11:11 pm) *

Thanks, so thats what a Lionchu is! These days there are so many ranchu with big wens, dont even know if its lionchu or normal ranchu.

Aussieboy, i got them straight from the importer. Out of 10000 or so fish I picked 3 tanchos. Apparently very hard to come by.

Hay mate can anyone buy from the importer , Could I get his details ?

Im still not sure if mine are SVR or TVR. I just take photos of mine from the top because i only have a pond for them. And i desire looking at them from the top just like with koi.

Calicoly, i try to hook you up with some nice ones later this week

Just wondering, how rare are pitch black crown pearlscales in Australia? I just got 4 pieces imported from china and picking up tomorrow. These are of the highest grade from the breeder and are the biggest on the list. Has anyone seen any in Australia before?
