helo guys!
![]() ![]() so came home would like to find something to do to e tank first!, i want to paint the backgrouds of the tank, colour in mind is blue or black..... Which is better to show the goldfish colours better? pls let me hear some advice. ![]() |

Below is totally unscientific and based on hearsay:-
It's claimed that goldish's will change its body colour to match the surronding, getting darker in colour if it's in a dark environment, or fades to a lighter shades in a bright tank. If you subscribe to this folklore, then go for a black tank. ![]() |

Another one which i feel quite outstanding is a frosted glass surounding except the viewing side. Think that should be a customized one. Blue background bring out the natural color of the fish. Anyone try using those silvery aluminium foil as background ? |

Which is better to show the goldfish colours better? pls let me hear some advice. ![]() Blue give clarity to the fish outline and colour. the problem with blue is that it is not in syn with most of the colours of surrounding (yr furniture, wall colour) unless it is an outdoor tank. as such black is better as if it is a cabinet tank, it looks as if there is depth to the wall and it syn well with furniture. my 5 cents worth |
