That toy is used to remove nitrate from tank water? Cheem. Are those plastic bio-balls? How does that thing work to remove nitrate? unsure.gif

I admire your DIY skill. How about DIY an automatic water change device next time? Water is relatively affordable and if I can press a button to change water daily, I won't even need to install any biological filtration!

save water compaign don't rub on u huh.

the benefits are:
Freq of water change reduced - more time to shake leg and look at tank than slaving after it, added benefit of removing harmful nitrate and creating fewer stunt fish. save water and effort to change water also.

This tank will most appropriately call in
mandarin:

" Yu Shui Zi Huan "

This tank will be rated RA.

I still remember vividly the first save water campiagn when I was in primary school and won a drawing contest too. The mascot was an elephant....

But I've chosen this hobby and I save water by making sure I keep sufficient goldfish for my enjoyment only instead of rows of ponds with crappy fishes. I also take shower instead of bath nowsaday and make sure I drive in the rain to cleanse my car.
