This is the picture of the ranchu before I keep in green water

This is my first ranchu picked up from Qianhu in a tub that say thai ranchu. But is this a thai or chinese ranchu? It went through few times of tank cycling and survive. But it has lose most of its colour turning pale. Tail was deformed cos accidently get caught in the net.

I'm sorry to say this but I can't tell any difference.

The more intense red is probably because of lighting.

Two weeks is too short to see any real difference. I personally have not noticed any significant difference for my fishes kept in an outdoor green water tub in just two weeks. However, in a month's time, the colour change is especially noticeable for red fish. Best of all, the fish seems to magically become more active and more importantly, eventually develops to its full potentials too.
