I can live with a bit of scale defect, slight anal fin and tail defect. It has feature I like but I have overlooked on the minor defects. If you compare with those in main glass tanks having major defects and costing twice or more, you'll find this a good buy.

I can hardly find good or nice goldfish today. Price also quite steep after discount. The goldfish quality I've seen today can't fight with those few weeks ago. Good and nice goldfish might be snapped up for CNY. Let's hope they bring in new stocks of goldfish soon.

How much do you think it's worth for a normal 5 inches (including tail) thai grade ranchu?

i think u may be wrong.
i saw good side view ones at jalan kayu JK4 selling reasonable price and at AC also. btw $30-$88 at 4-5 inches. and can bargain some more.

at QH, the problem is u really have to toss the fish left and right to see the curves , best is to bring a small tank to judge. and u spent a long time catching the "ONE".

hope u are not offended by these comments. the idea is to brush and polish our selection skill to pick the "value for money" fish rather than pplp sucking up to u on yr purchase.

Notice i say "value for money" not the "BEST and Nicest" fish hor.

Could you enlighten me how you tell that the anal fin is defective. I only notice the 2 side is not perfectly symmetrical, is that what you mean?

Perhaps this pic would explains it better then words. The "angle" of the anal fins are wrong.
