Ah Tan,
Arising from this tip-off I was there today, saw only one worth considering,I wonder if you are refering to this catch: rolleyes.gif

Since this one is classified as culled ranchu shopping (or TVR reject becomes SVR accept according to Goldrush), I am hijacking your thread. biggrin.gif

Fish measures just a little longer than one inch. Its single anal alright, and tail is deformed with the left tail shoulder bent upwards.

But I am giving it a chance cos' the funtans and goosehead look promising, scalation looks OK at this point of time, and it swims pretty horizontal.

p/s Pic taken in haste.Pls do not ask for a clearer pic............. lazy.gif:

wah u in this also already....

colour looks the same. picture looks abit distorted in plastic bag. i think u got the one.....the one i saw also swim horizontal all right and active in the tank.
how ?any piece other than this u consider, just to confirm my assessment. i find it a good way to hone "culled" selection skill. biggrin.gif

u should also try the tub behind @$10. i didn't have time to see them properly. should be the same batch as the last time i pick one from that tub. there are 1-2 pieces also worth seeing. i picked 3 and choose the smallest of them then.
i used the siblings to gauge the growth of mine.

there is also another labeled as "sick" ranchu. looks pretty promising on the top

There is another one actually, colouration is similiar but with a much higher back and steeper turn at the peduncle. But gave it a miss cos' may not grow up big.
