Here is a $12 ranchu bought in mid April 06 from QH.It was a TVR 'reject' IMO, and was purchased for the fun of it and for SV appreciation.It has an obvious flaw of a bent up left tail shoulder, and the peduncle isnt as smooth, but what do you expect for twelve bucks har.......
I picked it for it longish body shape,and the scales looked not too bad. Here it is in mid April 06, at just a little over one inch in lenght: (Sorry for the bad quality pics, taken in haste while still in bag)   Notice the bent left tail shoulder.  |

Pics taken today, towards end June 06, after spending six weeks at the oudoor resort:
 A promising goosehead..........  It has grown and colour is better..........  But left tail shoulder is still bent.   Will keep you folks posted on its development over the next couple of months, provided that you are still interested,and provided that it is still alive.........  |

Another update today after another 4 months.Fish has grown considerably, left tail shoulder remained bent as ever, but I like the development of its 'goosehead', the 4th pic.
