Green Water: Not Telling
Country: Singapore

I had just done a clean up of my cannister filter yesterday , washed the filter media with tank water
and everything was going smoothly. Then I noticed that the water was quite cloudy and decided to take out the inlet strainer for a while so that the debris could clear up faster. When I returned from the bathroom a while later to my horror my favorite ranchu was head stuck to the water inlet. In that moment of panic I tried to pull the poor ranchu away from the inlet but the suction was too strong, my nephew heard the commotion and came over and turned off the power to the cannister filter. Poor ranchu had traded part of his wen for his head. Sounds familiar. Moral of this story : In such emergency, turn off power supply to save goldfish.... hysterical.gif
