Important - Chlorine Level Change In Eastern Area Options

PUB has informed me that there will be temporary water quality changes in the Eastern part of Singapore from 14 Feb to 21 Feb 2004.

The temporary change is necessary to facilitate work in the supply network as PUB upgrades the water supply system to serve you better. The water supply will contain a slight increase in residual chlorine level but will remain well within WHO guideline value. The areas affected are shown in the attached plan.

2 The water complies with World Health Organisation’s Guideline for
Drinking Water Quality and is safe for drinking.

Just for everyone benefit, I can see that people that will be effected will be from Kallang, Boon Keng, Paya Lebar, Eunos, Marine Parade, Bedok, Aljunied, Kenbangan, ard Paya Lebar Airbase, Tanah Merah, Simei, Changi, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Lorlong Halus and Bedok Reservoir. This is just and estimate from the map.
