Dear RG friends.
I'm keen to get some Tosakin and as there are now a few Tosai on the market, thought I might try my hand. I have the following in mind (still not yet coloured up form this year's spawning). Any of you chaps know anything about spotting a good Tosakin? Cheers Matt Here is another shot of the two: |

Thanks Geert.
In a bit of a rush to buy some fish before I leave as I may be out of here by the end of next year so I'm thinking it is better to buy some Tosai this year and see how they develop. Similarly with the Ranchu. I've got to get the best stock I can while I'm in Japan as I'm not sure when I will return (or where I'm going next!). Thanks as always for your valued input. Matt |
