QUOTE(CyberET @ Thu 25 Mar 2004 11:34 AM) buffer the water I'm thinking about that, but I'll be doing a water change tomorrow and the water from PUB at my place is PH 8, so I suppose that will push the PH up when it settle down. Will update as I go along, hope it will be helpful for newbies on the setup. 2 Sponge filter is the way to go. |

My heartfelt thanks to the group at Live!, HB and cyber
My fish has grown considerably. Last water change was without salt and everything is wonderful. Kids love them, wife beginning to like them, over feeding them at times. I'm a happy man. Just in case anyone likes to see their growth http://www.arofanatics.com/members/jhansolo/goldfish/ Ugly fish - bewarned My conclusion ... Sponge filter (guppy brand) simply superb. Canister - Eheim 2213 I can't say more its great Eheim Liberty - Very good mech filter, handles the shit issue together with my tom battery cleaner, just keeping everything clean. Tom Dive Clean 85B - My prefilter for Eheim 2213, the secret of less maintenance for my 2213 and my prime assist. Rena Air 200 - simply the best power for my 2 sponge filter. Lionhead - the magic to the coloration and growth of my very ugly fish. Seriously! |
