Yo SG bros,
I'm most very likely gonna go to your country with my girlfriend & my bro & his girlfriend for one day only (morning till night) in December. Due to the time constraint & my girlfriend's displeasure I will (most very very unfortunately) not be able to look around your magnificent goldfish scenery *sob sob*. Anywaaay, any of you bros got any suggestions of what should we do and where should we go during our day in SG? Most likely we go shopping (what else) but any suggestions? Orchard Rd etc? How about where to eat? Anywhere that we MUST go eat while in SG (we loooooooooooove food!)? Any place worth shopping and got a look see of some goldfish shops also? Any of you bros wanna be our *free* tour guide? lol Thx bros This post has been edited by d_golem: Mon, 08 Oct 2007 1:32 pm |

9th of December will be a PERFECT DAY as VRC will be holding their 3rd annual show. You can meet most of us (in persons!!!!!)and I'm sure you will be spoiled for choice in viewing some of the competition fishes and even meet renowned judges like Geert for some tips and chips
I'm sure many bros will be kind enough to show you around our magnificent island....not just the fishes |

If its only for a day and shopping is a priority, I guess its Orchard Rd then. Plenty of eateries inside the shopping centres too, you'd be spoilt for choice.

Not really sure, ranchu8. For me & my bro maybe electronics/games and for our girlfriends maybe clothes. For what to eat as long as it's cheap and tasty hi, for electronics maybe Sim Lim Square which is about 15 min car/taxi ride from Orchard Road; problem maybe to get a taxi if on weekends. What type of electronics/games as I am not v familiar with this area and other forummers can chip in after your info. For clothes, I suppose it's Orchard Road. For food, what type eg seafood, Malay/Chinese/Japanese etc food, hawker centre type food eg noodles, satay, chicken rice; I don't suppose it's Western food, if so what type Italian, steak, French |

Food most likely hawker center I think. Any good ones can recommend? |
